The trust organizes annual prize distribution and cultural function
around the end of November every year, which is, presided over by a prominent Government official or a distinguished personality from educational, social
or administrative sphere. In this grand function, students from different schools participate in declamation contest, song competition, skit and dance competitions. The honorable Chief Guest gives winners mementos, certificates, books and other suitable prizes. The schools can send their entries twenty days prior to the date of this function.
The Best Teacher Award is given by the trust every year from amongst the teachers of J.M.S. Sr.
Sec. School, Rania to a teacher judged best by the students/Principal/trustees. One Best Turban Award is also provided to one of the competitors for
an on the spot turban-binding contest.
Free uniforms are provided to the poor and needy students of the school each year. For this, class incharges submit a list of such students
to the Principal.
The Trust also distributes blankets, winter clothing each year to the old poor folk of the village.
Financial help is also provided to the girls belonging to the poor families on their marriages.
The Trust endeavors to start a campaign for tree plantation on the sides of villages roads, which are almost devoid of greenery due to deforestation, with the help of village Panchayats and NGO's.
The Trust has decided to build a sports stadium at Rania in the memory of
Sardar Chand Singh Dhaliwal, the late chairman of the Trust, for which the work is already in progress. Sports Club Rania and The village Panchayat are giving full cooperation in the completion of this project.
From the academic year 2006-2007, Trust has started ten scholarships for the rural students of Moga District (Punjab) who get admission in any
